Data Deletion

1. How to Request Deletion

Email hello@chronoai.io with the subject "Data deletion request". Include your dealer account email, company name, and whether you want account closure, connector revocation, deletion of specific records, or deletion of the full dealer account.

2. Expected Timeline

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete eligible deletion within 30 days. During beta, deletion may be handled manually and complex requests may require follow-up to verify the account and scope.

3. What We Delete

When a full deletion request is verified and no retention exception applies, we delete or de-identify active product records such as:

• Dealer account and onboarding profile data.
• Beta application and manual review data tied to the dealer account.
• Imported listings and dealer-scoped inventory context.
• Conversation/thread context and message context stored for the dealer.
• Generated drafts, draft metadata, and dealer edits stored in ChronoAI.
• Connector tokens, API key metadata, extension health records, and pairing records.

4. What May Be Retained Temporarily

Some records may be retained for limited periods where needed for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, or audit integrity, including:

• Billing records and Stripe metadata needed for invoices, accounting, refunds, chargebacks, or tax records.
• Security and audit logs needed to investigate abuse, unauthorized access, or data integrity issues.
• Records that we are legally required to keep.
• Backups that expire on their normal rotation schedule.

If we cannot delete a retained category immediately, we will explain the category and reason where appropriate.

5. Connector Revocation

You may request connector revocation without deleting the full account. Revocation disables future extension requests for that connector but does not automatically delete historical product records unless you also request deletion.

6. Beta Caveats

ChronoAI is a controlled beta. Some deletion, export, and verification steps are manual. We may ask for extra confirmation before deleting a dealer account to avoid accidental loss of active business records.
